Essence ni wimbo wa 4 kutoka kwenye album ya ''Made In Lagos'' na unakuwa wimbo wa kwanza toka nchini Nigeria kuingia kwenye chart za Billboard Hot 100 huku ikiwa ni mara ya 3 kwa Big Wiz kuingia kwenye chart hizo na mara ya kwanza kwa Tems.

Big Wiz aliwahi ingia kupitia "One Dance" ya Drake ambayo ilifanikiwa kushika namba 1 mwaka 2016 pia kupitia collabo yake na Beyonce "Brown Skin Girl" ambayo ilikaa namba 76 kupitia Billboard Hot 100.
